Wigs Wig Made with Zury Ultra Twin

Hair Used: Zury Ultra Twin (one box in color #1)

Price: around $45

A little about the hair...
The package claimed to be enough to complete the style. The hair comes in four lengthens; 14, 12, 10 & 8. Since I like my sew-in's and wigs very full, I ending up having to use some hair from my stash.  Overall, the hair is nice.  I am thinking about using it for my next sew-in weave.

Sew-In Weaves: Sew-In Weave using Sensationnel Premium Too

Hair Used: Sensationnel Premium Too
Color: #1 & 33
Length: 18, 14L and 12 inches (#33 was in 10 inches)

Side Note: This hair sheds like crazy.  In fact, I don't know why in the world I keep getting it.  Anywho, it does hold curls nicely.  So, if you don't mind cleaning your bathroom sink and sweeping every day...this is the hair for you.  =)

Here are a few pics of the actual install.

Sew-In Weaves: I've Got an Itch For a Stitch

I am in the mood for a sew-in weave.  I have not had one since the middle of April, which was a long time ago for me.  Yes, I know it is too hot to be walking around with (in my case) three packs of hair on my head.  lol  I am just so bored and in need of a break from dealing with my natural hair.  I have one more natural hair meetup to attend this month and then it will be ON N POPPIN'!!!  I just can't bring myself to show up to a natural hair meetup with a head of weave hanging down my back...it just ain't right.  So, in on September the 1st, I will be "weavealicious".

I know I want something long (16 to 18 inches).  I am not sure what color I want...but knowing me I will more than likely go with a #1 (jet black)...but then again, I do want to try a little color...maybe.

Here are a few styles that I have in mind...

Wigs: Milky Way Que Loose Deep Wave

Hair Used: Milky Way Que in Loose Deep Wave
1 Pack (includes 14, 12, 10 & 8 inch hair along with a closure) in color #4

A little about the hair...
I would not use this hair for a sew-in weave.  I think it is perfect for a wigs or quick weaves.  I say this because it is not 100% human hair.  The hair is soft and does not feel like plastic.  The package was correct about one pack being enough.

Results...
I love how the hair turned out.  I am very happy and hope it will last awhile.  Check out the pics...

I will add a picture of me rocking her soon!!

Wigs: 'Sensationnel's Pro 10 Bohemian Curl'

Hair Used: Sensationnel's Pro 10 Bohemian Curl (three packs)
Color: #1 (jet black)
Length: 12 inches

A little about the hair...
Since this hair is not human hair, I would not use this for a sew-in weave.  As warned on the package, it is best to use scissors when cutting the hair.  Other cutting tools will make the hair frizzy.  Two packs should be plenty.  Since I wanted the wig to be very big and full, I used three packs.

The results...
Well, at first the fullness really freaked me out.  But after giving the wig some shape and cutting on it for a few days, I am very pleased with the results.  Check out a few pics...

Natural Hair: (Not So)Mini Twists...Round Two

Last week I did another set of twists.  I was very happy with the results.

What I did this time...
~I made the twists a lot smaller.  It took me over four hours to finish.
~I originally had cornrows in the front.  They were looking a little crazy...so I took those out a couple of days later.  =/
~I kept the twists in for around five days.

What I will do next time...
~My twistout lasted only two days.  Next time I will use some type of twisting gel/cream.
~I am going to try to keep them in for longer that a week.

Here are a few pics....

With cornrows...I should have made them smaller.

A couple of  days later once cornrows were removed.

Twistout...Day 1
(My bestie made the flower...ain't it cute!?!?)

I know I have said this before...but this was the best twistout ever!!

Natural Hair: New & Improved way to create my puffs!

For a couple of weeks now, I have been using the elastic from one of my old wig caps.  Yeah, I know this sounds a little hood...but it works.  I don't know what made me try it out to see if it would, I am just glad it did.  =)
