Wigs: Wig Made With Sensationnel PremiumToo 100% Human Hair

I finally sat down long enough to make myself a wig.  The hair used is nothing fancy, just some inexpensive hair from the beauty supply store.  I don't recommend this hair for sew-in weaves since it sheds like crazy after a couple of weeks.  When used for wigs, the shedding is not an issue at all.   Overall, the hair looks very natural PLUS it holds a mean curl.

Sew-In Weaves: Bohemian Curl

I've been in the mood for Big Diva Hair since the beginning of summer. Last week, I finally made time to do this install.  The hair works well for the price.  Since I keep the hair in for only 3 to 4 weeks this hair is perfect.  If you desire hair that will last longer than that, this hair is so not for you. ;)

Hair Stats: Sensationnel Pro 10 (two packs at around $15 per pack) Bohemian Curl Color #1b 12 inches

Regimen: Before touching the hair each day, I apply a frizz serum to my hands. This helps to prevent frizz. I never comb nor brush this hair.  The only styling tools that I use are my fingers.

Before bed each night, I put the hair into a high pony tail before putting on my satin bonnet.

Natural Hair: First Blowout & Trim

Since becoming a Natural Diva, a dear friend of mine hooked me up with my first trim. I was so nervous! I have to admit, it was not as painful as I thought it would be. Even though, she had to cut a good amount off, my hair feels so much better.

Natural Hair: Twist Out using As I Am Twist Defining Cream

I've been looking for the perfect product to twist my hair with. I wanted something that would provide moisture AND hold without making my hair hard.  Since I've heard great things about As I Am Twist Defining Cream, I decided to give it a go. I purchased a 16 oz. jar from Sally's for $21.99. I later discovered Wal-mart has the 8oz. jars for under $10. Smh...

Initially, I was not too crazy about the smell and after twisting my hair for awhile, my hands became very sticking.  The results were great, though.  My hair remained soft for days and the cream provided a nice hold, which kept my twists frizz free. My hair also had a nice sheen, which I loved. My twist out had great definition..no flakes.

Bottom line...I really like this stuff, even if I dislike the smell. Lol

Wigs: Sensationnel Bump Collection

The Hair:  One box of Sensationnel Bump Collection 8" Feather in color #1

Since I ran out of hair AND kind of misplaced the closure that came with the hair, I had to use some hair from my stash to finish the top. The hair is okay and works well for the price. I don't think I would use it for a sew-in weave.

Natural Hair: Motions Color Refresher & Conditioner

I dyed my hair last month and the color did not come out as light as I had hoped. On top of that, the color had gotten dull. I decided to try Motions Color Refresh & Conditioner. I purchased it from a local beauty supply store for $2.99. I was very pleased with the results.
